Myriam Farger

Dance Artist

Myriam Farger completed her professional dance training at the program of The School of Toronto Dance Theatre in 1999. Establishing herself in Montréal in 2000, she started working with stimulating independent choreographers. Presently an active member of numerous companies, she performs regularly at important corporate events throughout Montréal and Québec. She continuously nurtures her passion for dance through her studies, such as Argentinian Tango, Capoeira, Samba No Pé, Silvestre Technic and Qi-Gong.

Myriam danced with specific groups such as the Newton Moraes Dance Company in Toronto, and with Bourane, Marie-Claude Rodrigue and Maria Lité Danse, in Montréal. She has also enjoyed teaching as an assistant in social dances at the Milton-Parc Recreation Association from 2007 to 2010. She studied social dances with her partner, Gilfred Bynoe in 2011. As a choreographer, she loves the fusion of distinct dance styles and channeling into the presence.

In June 2007, she performed Solitude, a piece by Carmen Ruize at Théâtre Lachapelle. Her performances as a Passista have earned her the respect of Québec’s Brazilian community. She performs in multiple venues in Montréal, such as the restaurants Le Senzala, Al Sultan, Le Milsa and Buffet Bravo.

Myriam consistently appears in various television and movie productions.
